Thanks for the info and the links! What are your thoughts avoiding the rash of fake antivirus software out there? Is there any free ligit anitvirus software that works against such threats? Last night, I was infected by ANTIVIRUS SOFT despite running AVG FREE 9.0.819, WINDOWS SECURITY ESSENTIALS, and WINDOWS DEFENDER.I removed it with a system restore. Malwarebytes shows no remaining infection.
