@jaxzurr a degree is just like any type of training, you should only do it if you think it will be worth it for getting the job you want. if you pick something you like without thinking about the job prospects then yes, it is pointless going to uni. the only reason people should go to uni is for training to get a job they want. its not a scam, its just that people are so stupid they think they can get a degree in anything and automatically get a good job

@ferrari4sale depends what type of doctors they are. They owe about $150,000 each but if they're both earning separate doctors salaries they'll be making a dickload of money

I"m thirty years old. About seven years ago I graduated from drexel university with a bachelors in engineering. Ten years ago, I heard the same b.s. I heard all the great possible salary's and jobs. HOwever, when I checks on my own I found few jobs with pay far less than claimed. Who's fault is it for not doing your own research?

People, no matter how much you study, your knowledge is of limited value if you have no plan to organize it for the purpose of making money. Hill wrote about this topic in his book "Think and Grow Rich." College professors are not wealthy business people. If they were, would they be there? There are exceptions. However, like majoring in film, few people will ever find any jobs in that field. Without good connections, you can forget it. Companies want people who can make them steady money.

The education system in the U.S is nothing more then just another business. The sellers brainwash their potential buyers with propaganda and the like. If you don't get that degree you will be working in fast food forever.. Just like the medical industry, real estate, car dealerships, etc.. Bunch on vampires praying on good people and their money. I have a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree, both are bs. Not in debt, but certainly working as a gardener and a gym keeper ain't paying!
